The last time I saw the Lange family, we were doing a combine maternity/family photography session and there were only FOUR of them. I’m so glad I got to capture Caylin’s maternity session last year and I’m doubly glad I got to see all of the family and meet Oliver this fall! If this is not just the sweetest, most energetic family, I really don’t know who is.
They chose Cox Arboretum for this year’s family photo session and it did not disappoint! This is one of my favorite locations because of how diverse the settings are. Not only is this great for a unique portfolio, but it is perfect for young kids who like to move.

It is so wild to see kids grow up each year. Carter is growing into an even more wonderful and kind boy. He is an amazing big brother and I think he was meant for this role. He is generous with his love for his siblings and leads them so well.
Gabby is sunshine and energy! She is everywhere at once and a great balance to Carter. She’s doing a fantastic job as a big sister and I loved watching how tender she could be with Oliver.
Ahhh! And Oliver is SO cute! Caylin warned me that Oliver might be wary of strangers, but he was all smiles! I think it’s because his siblings provided excellent entertainment 🙂
Caylin and Ian and such wonderful parents and partners. They look at each other with love and admiration and you can tell they communicate on a deeper level. Watching them interact with each other and their beautiful family was such a gift. I truly love working with families that share laughter in the midst of chaos.

Dear Ian, Caylin, Carter, Gabby, and Oliver
I am so glad we got to make your family session happen this fall! Your family is beautiful and I hope that you fondly remember the chaos and the magic when you look at these images. I cannot express how meaningful it is to capture your growth from year to year! Thank you for sharing your afternoon, your smiles, and your kindness with me.
Warmly,
