What an absolute honor to serve a veteran family on Veteran’s Day! I am so excited that Bobby and Emily chose to spend part of their day capturing beautiful family photos that will last a lifetime.
Bobby actually surprised Emily with this session for her birthday last month and her dream was to have a session filled with Christmas decor. I think we pulled it off spectacularly -but it almost didn’t happen! This was the same weekend as the tree lighting at Austin Landing, which could have proved disastrously busy. We moved to a nearby park to avoid the crowds and decided to head to Austin Landing later with the hope we could make it work. And it was amazing! Not only was the park a perfect starting place, but the tree at Austin landing was up, decorated, and EMPTY of crowds! Take a peek at how incredible this family session was….
Bobby and Emily are seriously the sweetest couple. For starters, Bobby gifted his amazing wife a special family photo session -what a beautiful gift! Then, he was very adamant that he wanted to get images of Emily with her boys -moments that capture their incredible bond. My heart is absolutely melted at Bobby’s love for his wife and children.
And Emily is such a loving wife and mother! She is an incredible woman, serving her country and her family. I’m so impressed by her calm demeanor and tenderness with such a wild gang 😉
Can you believe we all went to high school together?! Let’s not talk about how long ago that was and instead we can focus on Emily and Bobby’s precious family 
Caleb and Carter are two good looking and sweet young men! (….and very energetic haha). You can tell they have been raised with kindness and laughter. They certainly made me smile! Caleb is a strong big brother with a very kind heart. Carter has the most beautiful big eyes and a mind of his own! Together they make an absolutely perfect pair.

Thank you for your dedicated service to our country. When you serve, your family sacrifices, and we are so grateful. I’m really touched that I could serve you in my own way on Veteran’s Day. Getting to photograph your family was such a joy! I loved seeing the love and admiration you have for each other and the precious bonds among you.
